Overview
A three-station children’s-museum exhibit. At Station 1, visitors build digital creations on a Surface Go using prefab parts and grid snapping, then upload to a shared server. At Station 2, they pick up their creation as AR using the Merge Cube. At Station 3, they put on a Merge headset (iPhone + Google Cardboard) and walk through a VR space populated with their creation alongside other visitors’ uploads.
Role
Lead Dev — Unity build across all three stations, plus the shared upload/sync layer that connects them.
Highlights
- Cross-station data flow: a creation built at Station 1 is held at Station 2 and explored in VR with others’ creations at Station 3.
- Mixed-modality stack in one user journey — tablet 2D building, AR Cube tactile manipulation, headset VR exploration.
- Designed for high museum throughput, with quick reset between visitors at each station.
